We collected two tons of waste!

The Santiago streamwhich crosses the village of the same name in the port of Manzanillo, has become a health hazard because the locals throw trash into the canal. Every time there is a storm the trash is washed into the sea, seriously affecting the beaches, seabed and marine species. Committed to the environment, we have introduced the United for the Conservation of Sea and Species in the area, which consists of cleaning both the coast and seabed several times a year, in conjunction with specialist companies. This is not only a cleaning exercisea key part of the Program is to educate the community to make a change in habits and thus save the area. Below is a video summary of our experiences on the first phase of the program on November 14 and 15, 2020. Thank you companions for your enthusiasm, time, and efforts, which were vital for this event!
